Workshops & Classes
10 Fold Projects hosts numerous workshops throughout the year. Most of the workshops and classes are either one day or weekend long intensives in the areas of painting (watercolor, oil, and acrylic), printmaking (relief, intaglio, and screen print), mixed media, bookbinding, and fibers (weaving, dyeing, spinning, felting, surface design, sewn construction).
Beginning Watercolor Workshop
If you ever wanted to get started in watercolor or have been struggling with this challenging medium, this class is for you! We will spend two hours on the basics. I will discuss and demonstrate the following areas:

Salt
We will paint eight, 4x6 miniature paintings in the last two hours applying what you have learned.
I will provide Aches 140 lb cold press watercolor paper along with handouts.
You will bring paint and brushes. A set of at least 10-12 basic colors will work. A size 8 round brush will work great for this class. Bring the supplies you have and we'll go from there.

Discover Weaving!
Learn the basics of weaving on a four-harness loom as you explore a traditional weaving pattern called overshot. This is the perfect workshop for anyone interested in weaving. No experience is needed! Participants get to take home a lovely woven sampler. Hot cocoa will even be available during this cozy intimate class!

Mixed Media Collage
Join artist Adrianne Hawthorne as she leads participants through the wonderful process of painting and collage. We will work with a variety of materials and processes in this intimate workshop. Adrianne will demonstrate a variety of ways to create a work of art made from found materials, painting, and other techniques. All materials are provided. Participants are encouraged to stay and attend the public reception opening from 5 to 7 pm in the gallery.

Discover Gelli Printing!
Gelli printing is a super easy and fun way of mono-printing where you explore color and textures on a soft surface of a Gelli plate. It's a great way to create papers for collage, card making, or other art practices including making one-of-a-kind prints. Cost includes all materials.
